I found this tonight. I honestly cannot remember seeing it before. I don't know to whom he was writing, however, for now, I am going claim this one for me and Stormi. I am amazed at how appropriately it goes with the stories we have just shared.
Memories, Losses & Friends
Sometimes in the gradual passing times of our lives,
we begin to realize the many losses we have suffered.
And then God has his way of
bringing us together with much warmth and caring,
and somehow the grief of loss begins to fade
because of the love shown in faces and actions.
We all know that actions are facts and words are only
utterings that sometimes escape without being thought through.
Memories are marks in our minds that no one can steal
because of their own indignities.
Unconditional friends are to be cherished and never forgotten,
for they always deserve a place in our hearts
and never should be forgotten in the fog of time.
I sincerely and respectfully thank you all from the
depths of my heart for your completeness
and I will never forget you all.
Although I wanted to, I can't come back right away.
But always remember: Look at the moon, watch the stars,
look at the mountains and smell the flowers,
Love each other and most of all love yourselves and all of God's creatures.
With my loving care,
Jerry G. Graham
