From the depths of our hearts we would like to thank each of you for your encouraging words, kind comments, and unwavering support. This journey is far from over, but we would be remiss if we didn't take the time to say thank you.
Both Stormi and I have had the opportunity to share in some difficult, soul baring conversations with so many of you and we are humbled by your trust in us. Please know that your comments, emails, and personal conversations mean the world to us and while the subject matter isn't easy, the love that flows from these conversations is immense. Personally, I have been so blessed to hear from dear, treasured friends from my chldhood....people who knew first hand how my life was and how abusive Daddy could be, and yet, they loved me anyway, even when I wasn't very easy to love. People who cared enough about me to not let me face Daddy alone thirty years ago, and who, many years later still remember and take the time to let me know that they do. I don't have the words to express what that means to me. And then there are the conversations and emails from people we have never met, who pour out their stories to us and tell us we are doing a good thing. Again, we are honored and so very humbled by the trust and the love we are being shown.
Our dream is to someday take our stories a step further and do some public speaking in order to reach a larger audience and hopefully, help remove the stigma of addiction. Getting started is so difficult, but we know in our hearts that this mission we are on is meaningful and healing, because you have told us so. Please keep the comments, conversations and emails coming.....they give us the fuel we need to continue to explore our pasts and get us one step closer to our dream.
With love,
Whitney
